Canis Chicken Gizzard

Canis Chicken Gizzard is dried chicken gizzard. A gizzard is a muscular stomach made of firm muscle tissue, which makes it a small, firm bite that your dog chews on for a moment. It is organ meat without bones. Choose a 300 or 1000 gram bag.

What do you use chicken gizzard for?

• A short chewing moment: small and firm, handy for smaller dogs.
• A reward in between: a piece of gizzard makes a firm reward during a walk or training session.
• Chicken as protein source: chicken is one of the protein sources often linked to food allergy, so introduce it gradually.
• Adult dogs: meant for fully grown dogs.

How much should you give?

Dried organ meat is concentrated, so even a small amount quickly counts towards that day's treats. All treats together should ideally stay below about 10 percent of the daily energy. Start slowly, because organ meat can cause a softer stool at first. Give larger pieces under supervision and put out fresh water. Keep the bag dry, cool and sealed.
