Canis Ram Horns

Canis Ram Horns are dried pieces of horn from the ram, the male sheep. Horn consists of keratin, the same material as nails. Ram horn is smaller and somewhat softer than buffalo horn, so your dog gets a better grip on it and also eats more of it. You receive a 1000 gram bag.

Which dogs is ram horn meant for?

• Less intense chewers: for dogs that love to gnaw but find antler too hard.
• Adult dogs: horn is firm, so do not give it while the teeth are changing.
• Variety: a different animal and texture alongside antler and buffalo horn.

How to give ram horn

Stay with your dog while it chews and check regularly for sharp edges on the piece. If it is small enough to swallow, take it away. Because your dog really eats some of the horn, it counts towards that day's treats. Let a piece that has been chewed wet dry thoroughly before putting it away, and put out fresh water.
