Canis Sprat

Canis Sprat is dried sprat. Sprat is a small, oily fish from the herring family, and you can tell by the distinct fishy smell. This treat is intended for adult dogs. You get a pack of 100 grams.

What to look out for with sprat

• Oily fish: sprat is nourishing, so give a few pieces rather than a handful at once.
• Small bones: dried small fish can contain small bones. They are brittle, but only give sprat under supervision.
• Adult dogs: not intended for puppies.

How to give sprat

Give sprat as a reward or snack and count it: all treats together should stay around 10 percent of the daily energy. Put out fresh water. Keep the pack dry, cool and tightly closed, because oily fish can start to smell rancid over time. If it smells different than usual, throw it away. You will find other fish treats in the fish treats buying guide.
