What should you look out for with a marrow bone?

• Hard bone: suitable for adult dogs with healthy teeth that gnaw calmly.
• Not for puppies: do not give hard bones while the teeth are changing.
• Fatty marrow: marrow is rich in fat, so do not give a marrow bone too often to dogs with a sensitive stomach.
• Sharp edges: check the bone while your dog chews and remove loose splinters or sharp bits.

How to give a marrow bone
