Canis Deer Antler M (76-150 grams)

Canis Deer Antler M (76-150 grams) is a medium-sized piece of deer antler weighing 76 to 150 grams. It suits small to medium-sized dogs that like to gnaw for a long time. Antler is so hard that your dog mainly scrapes off small bits; it eats very little of it.

How hard is antler, really?

• The thumbnail rule: if you cannot make a dent in a chew with your thumbnail, it is hard. For antler, that is always the case.
• Power biters: a dog that tries to crack things can break a tooth on something this hard. Choose something tough or softer for that dog.
• Short sessions: give the antler for a while rather than for hours on end.

Giving and clearing away

Give size M under supervision and only to adult dogs, not while the teeth are changing. Take the antler away as soon as it is small enough for your dog to swallow. Put out fresh water. What else is sensible is explained in which chews are safe for dogs. Compare sizes and alternatives in the antler and horn buying guide.
