Canis Shelf-Stable Sausage Tripe is a soft 800 gram sausage with beef tripe as its protein source. Tripe is the stomach of cattle and has a strong smell, and it is precisely that smell that makes tripe appealing to many dogs. In sausage form, you can easily cut it into slices for on the go.

What should you know about tripe sausage?

• Strong smell: handy for a fussy eater, but keep the sausage well covered after opening.
• Start gradually: some dogs get softer stools from a lot of tripe at once, so start with a small piece.
• Beef as protein source: tripe comes from cattle, so this sausage is not suitable for a dog with a beef allergy.
• Any age: for puppies, adult dogs and seniors, in pieces cut to size.

Storage and hygiene
