Canis Lamb Tripe

Canis Lamb Tripe is dried tripe from lamb. Tripe is the stomach of a ruminant and has a strong smell, and that very smell is what makes it so appealing to many dogs. The pieces are firm but breakable and contain no bone. Choose a 150, 500 or 1000 gram bag.

Why choose lamb tripe?

• Variety: a different flavour for dogs that already know beef tripe.
• Chew or reward: give a whole piece to chew on, or cut it into strips with kitchen scissors as a reward.
• Adult dogs: lamb tripe is meant for fully grown dogs, not for puppies while their teeth are changing.

How to give and store tripe

Start with a small piece, as some dogs get a softer stool from a lot of tripe at once. Stay nearby, remove the last small piece and put out fresh water. A jar with a lid or a well-sealed bag keeps the smell in and moisture out. Which tripe suits your dog is explained in the tripe buying guide.
