Canis Softies Deer

Canis Softies Deer are small, soft pieces of venison. Deer is game, and for many dogs a protein source they do not get every day. The pieces are tender, so your dog has little trouble eating them. Choose 100 grams to try them out or 1000 grams as a regular supply.

Which dogs is deer suitable for?

• Dogs that may try something new: deer is an alternative to common types such as chicken and beef.
• Puppies: small, soft pieces are more comfortable than a hard chew while the teeth are changing.
• Older dogs: tender meat takes little effort from the teeth.
• Sensitive stomach: introduce a new protein source gradually and see your vet if complaints persist.

Rewarding with deer

Feel free to split a piece in two or four: what matters most to your dog is that they get something. That way you can reward more often and treats stay within about 10 percent of the daily energy. Which soft treat suits your dog is explained in the soft bites and biscuits buying guide.
