Canis Fish Finger Trout is a dried fish treat shaped like a finger, with trout and cod. Fish is a different protein source from meat, which makes it a way to add variety. The fish fingers are intended for adult dogs. You order 100 grams or 1000 grams.
Which dogs is it for?
- Adult dogs: the fish finger is intended for fully grown dogs.
- Fish for variety: handy if you want to give fish now and then alongside chicken or beef.
- Try first: start with 100 grams and give only this new treat for a few days, so you can see whether your dog likes it and tolerates it well.
How to give a fish finger
A small dog or a dog that gulps sometimes finishes a whole fish finger too quickly. So stay close while your dog eats and remove the last small piece. Put out fresh water. Count the fish fingers: all treats together should not exceed about 10 percent of daily energy. Read more about fish as a treat in the fish treats buying guide.
