Canis Deer Antler L (151-225 grams)

Canis Deer Antler L (151-225 grams) is a large piece of deer antler weighing 151 to 225 grams, for medium-sized dogs. Antler is a bone-like material that a deer usually sheds and regrows every year. It is very hard and wears down slowly.

What makes antler different from other chews?

• Little eating, long gnawing: your dog scrapes off small bits; it is mostly about chewing time.
• Hardly any smell: no strong odour in the house, unlike tripe or fish, so it is pleasant to give indoors.
• Very hard: so only for adult dogs that gnaw calmly, not for puppies whose teeth are changing or dogs with fragile teeth.

How to give size L

Choose a piece your dog cannot fit entirely in its mouth; if you are torn between two sizes, take the larger one. Stay close, put out fresh water and afterwards put a half-chewed antler back in a clean spot. More about antler and horn is in the antler and horn buying guide.
