Canis Deer Leg with Hair

Canis Deer Leg with Hair is a dried deer leg with the coat still on. That hair gives your dog extra chewing work, on top of the skin, tendons and small bones of the leg itself. You order it per piece; it is intended for adult medium-sized to large dogs.

What does the hair mean for you?

• In the stools: hair can come back out in the stools. That is normal.
• Outside or on a mat: a leg with hair is less tidy than a bare one, so give it in the garden or on a mat.
• Getting used to it: some dogs need to get used to the hair. Watch how your dog handles it the first time.

Giving it safely

The leg contains small bones, so stay close while your dog chews and never cook it. Remove the last small piece and put out fresh water. Do not give it to puppies while their teeth are changing. If your dog tries to swallow the leg in one go, take it away. Compare all kinds of legs and feet in the dried feet buying guide.
