Canis Calf Hoof with Pâté
Not working right now — please use 'Add to cart'.
Canis Calf Hoof with Pâté is a dried calf hoof filled with pâté. The shell is hard and the filling is soft: many dogs lick out the pâté first and then start gnawing on the hoof itself. You get a pack of 25 pieces, intended for adult dogs.
Who is a filled calf hoof for?
- Picky eaters: the pâté makes the hoof more appealing.
- Smaller adult dogs: a calf hoof is smaller than a cattle hoof.
- Watch out with allergies: the hoof comes from cattle, so it does not suit a dog with a beef allergy.
- No puppies: not during teething.
How often do you give it?
Pâté is rich in energy, so give a filled hoof now and then rather than a new one every day. Count it in the treat budget of about 10 percent of the daily energy. Stay close, put out fresh water and take the hoof away if sharp edges appear or it gets too small. You can refill an empty hoof yourself. Read more about hooves in the hooves buying guide.
