Canis Turkey Necks are dried turkey necks. A turkey neck is large and sturdy, with meat, cartilage and bone that becomes brittle when dried. Your dog is busy with it for longer than with a chicken or duck neck. Choose a 200 or 1000 gram bag.

Which dogs are turkey necks meant for?

• Medium-sized to large dogs: because of its size, a turkey neck suits a generous mouth.
• Eager eaters: a dog that swallows quickly is better served by a large piece than a small neck.
• Adult teeth: do not give treats with bone to puppies whose teeth are changing.

Tip for the first time

Hold one end of the neck the first few times while your dog chews. That way it gets used to chewing first and swallowing afterwards. If it still swallows a large piece and starts gagging, vomiting or struggling to breathe, call the vet straight away. Fresh water always belongs alongside.
