Canis Beef Neck Muscle 30-40CM

Canis Beef Neck Muscle 30-40CM is a long bar of dried beef neck muscle, 30 to 40 cm in length. The muscle is fibrous and tough, with no bone, which makes it a treat a large dog really takes its time over. You can order it as a single piece or in a large 2.5 kilo pack.

Which dogs get the most out of a long neck muscle?

• Medium and large dogs: thanks to the length, they cannot simply finish the bar in one go.
• Keen chewers: tough meat gives a little, unlike hard bone or antler.
• Big consumers: with 2.5 kilos you have stock for a while, or for several dogs.

Tips for giving it

Stay with your dog while they chew. For a greedy dog, hold the end of the bar yourself the first few times. When only a short end is left, swap it for a piece of kibble. A whole bar is a substantial treat, so put out fresh water with it. Necks and neck muscle are compared in the necks buying guide.
