Canis Beef Hooves with Chicken is a hard beef hoof with a filling of sheep fat and chicken. The filling makes the hoof more appealing to many dogs. Once the filling is gone, the shell remains as a firm chew. Sold per piece.

Good to know

• Two protein sources: beef in the shell and chicken in the filling. If your dog does not tolerate one of them, choose a different treat.
• Picky eaters: the filling helps a dog that still has to get used to hooves.
• Now and then: sheep fat is energy-rich, so do not give a filled hoof every day, and feed a little less main food that day.

What to watch while your dog chews

Hooves are hard and therefore meant for adult dogs with healthy teeth that gnaw calmly. Puppies whose teeth are changing should skip this treat.
