Canis Beef Lungs

Canis Beef Lungs are larger pieces of dried beef lung that you break to size yourself. Lung tissue contains a lot of air, so dried lung is light and porous, a bit like a dry sponge. It breaks easily and contains no bones. Bags are available in 200, 400 and 1000 grams.

Why break it yourself?

• Any size of dog: give a large dog a generous piece, and break small bits for a small dog or puppy.
• Older dogs too: the soft texture is kind to sensitive teeth.
• Not a long-lasting chew: a piece of lung is gone quickly. If you want something to chew on for a long time, choose a firmer treat.

Good to know

Break a bag into the size you need at home in one go and keep the pieces in a closed tub. Crumbs at the bottom can be sprinkled over a meal. Stay nearby when you give a larger piece and put out fresh water. Which shape suits you is explained in the beef lung buying guide.
