Canis Yak Cheese Stick is a hard stick of cheese made from yak milk. It is a chew for adult dogs that gnaw calmly: your dog works on it bit by bit and stays happily occupied for a long time. You order the stick per piece.
Which dogs is yak cheese suitable for?
- Calm gnawers: patient chewers get the most out of it.
- Not for hard biters: if you cannot make a dent in the stick with your thumbnail, it is hard. A dog that bites down on it with full force can break a molar.
- Adult dogs: do not give it during the change of teeth, from about 3 to 4 until 6 to 7 months.
How to give a yak cheese stick
Stay with your dog while they chew and put out a bowl of fresh water. Once the stick is small enough to swallow, take it away. All treats together should stay below about 10 percent of the daily energy. Compare it with other chews in the sticks and chew sticks buying guide.
